My boss called me this morning and asked me to meet up with him quickly on his way out of town to give me some work. I woke the girls up and started bundling them up since it was 39 degrees outside. Through very sleepy eyes Willow asked, "Do we have to go get you a Red Bull?" hah! I guess she knows my caffeine routine too well. :)

I can't believe it's 2012 already. I've been slacking with my blog posts, but I am going to try and keep up with it more this year. The girls are growing so fast and they keep me laughing every day.

We had a wonderful Christmas(3 actually.) It was the first year that Bristol and Willow knew what was coming and were very informative about what they wanted for Christmas. Bristol and I made a deal. She wanted a Madame Alexander doll and I wanted her to stop sucking her thumb. I caught her sucking her thumb yesterday and I said, "Hey, we made a deal. You got your doll and now you have to stop." She replied with a chuckle, "I tricked you!" She's a nut.

Willow is still my cuddle bug. If I am sitting down she is in my lap and if I am standing she is begging me to hold her. It's hard to get anything done, but I know it won't last forever so I take advantage of those moments.

We spent Christmas Eve with the Jarvis clan which is growing every year. My sister, Tiffany, just had her second baby girl a month ago and it was so much fun to snuggle with my adorable niece, Meredith Kate. The Jarvis group is growing and only with girls! Meredith makes grand-daughter number 8 for my mom and my sister Brittany has one more on the way(we don't know if it's a boy or girl yet.)

It's so much fun to watch then all run around like crazy together. I remember growing up with lots of cousins and it's so much fun. Every family gathering is a giant party. We took advantage of the fact that we were all together and got some family photos(see below.)

We spent Christmas with the Walter's and had a delayed Christmas with Seth and Tracy after Christmas when they came down from Georgia. The celebration just continued on and on and I loved every minute of it.

A lot happened last year. A lot of happiness and a bit of sorrow. When I look back on all that God did in our lives last year it brings me hope for 2012. I know He has much in store for us this year and I can't wait to see it unfold.

Jason competed in the Warrior Dash this weekend! I'm so proud of him! Just when I thought he couldn't possibly get an cooler, he runs a 5K through mud with 12 obstacles including leaping over multiple fires. Yup! That's my hubby! I am still waiting for the photos to be uploaded to the website of the different obstacles and I will post soon. These are just from the finish line. Enjoy!

I have started watching my cousin's daughters while she works on Tuesdays. Bristol and Willow just love it. They always look forward to seeing Peyton and Riley and even go to bed very easily Monday nights. :) This afternoon I felt courageous so I dressed them all up....put up their hair(those that have it) and took them all outside to take some photos. Lately, Bristol wants to take Willow everywhere with her. She grabs her by the hand and says, "Come with me, Willow!" Any time I say we are going somewhere she says, "Don't forget Willow!" She is so sweet and protective of her little sister.

I moved Willow's furniture into Bristol's room a few weeks ago and they LOVE rooming together. They go to sleep happier and wake up happier. I, usually, go into their room in the morning to find Bristol in Willow's crib and the two of them just laughing and playing. They bring me so much joy!

We have been having a lot of fun! Willow is running around chasing Bristol. They love to wrestle together and play with princess toys. There's seems to be an abundance of princess toys around here. :) Yesterday, I caught them walking through the living room holding hands and it just melt my heart! I am so very grateful for these girls and honored to be their mother.

Bristol is very excited about her birthday and turning 3! She has so much energy and I am very thankful that she and Willow play so well together. I would have to spend a lot more time outside in the heat if they didn't!
She is 39 inches tall and weighs 28lbs. Lately, she has been eating HUGE meals and I am hoping that means she'll start gaining weight soon. Her pediatrician says she's healthy and brilliant so I shouldn't worry about it. I agree. :)
Willow is running around the house and lately has started climbing the furniture. I am sure it won't be long until we put her in the toddler bed. Bristol was only a few months older when she climbed out of her crib. Willow is 28 inches tall and weighs (a whopping) 21 lbs! That's 3 more lbs than Bristol weighed at the same age! She's my "little" chunker that I prayed for! :)

My sweet little(well, not so little) niece was born this afternoon. My sister is my hero! 10 hours of hard labor, 2 hours of pushing and voila! Beautiful, healthy, 8lb 12oz Avenue was born. I love her so much already!

I've been slacking on my photo taking and my blogging! I'm sorry it's been so long. The girls are definitely keeping me busy!
Bristol is such a great big sister. She helps me out so much! She loves playing with Willow and keeps her entertained while I get chores done. She always wants to be dressed up like a princess and I've been practicing my sewing by making her fancy dresses. Her favorite thing to do right now is ask, "why?" over and over and over again until you run out of reasons.
Willow has started walking. She's rather wobbly, but will slowly walk across the room to get her blanket or her toys. It's so cute to watch! She's growing up so fast. She says, "ma-ma", "da-da", "nana", "papa" and "ba-ba" (for bottle). She said, "Heddah" for Heather once and "Brabry" for Bradley. She and Bradley really enjoy each others company. I hope they will be as good friends as Bristol and Norah are.

I am so glad that my girls enjoy having their photo taken. It must be that they are so used to a camera being in their faces! :) Bristol was more than happy to let me take her photos today. She's got her daddy's personality that's for sure! It's so crazy how fast time flies! She will 3 years old in just a few months. I am very excited because she gets to be more and more fun every day! :)

I can't believe it's been 8 months! (almost) I took a few photos today to document. She has grown so much! She's becoming more and more like a toddler every day. I miss some things about her being so small, but this season has been so much fun! Bristol loves her sister so much and they have started playing together every day. Last night they played in Bristol's room for 2 and a half hours! I kept checking in on them and every time I did they were laughing. I am so grateful to God for the joy they bring me(and each other!)

The first two photos are from tonight. Both the girls fell asleep and looked so adorable I just had to take their pictures! Bristol is getting quite the collection of plush Disney Princesses and they all have to be tucked in with her at night. It's almost like "Where's Waldo" when I go in to check on her some nights! :)

We went to the grocery store tonight and Bristol is famous for walking around and not paying attention to where she is going. She ran into the corner of an aisle and busted her forehead up pretty good. We let her pick out a treat to make her feel better(Princess cookies.) I put a band-aid on her head and gave her the cookies when we got home and she separated them into the different shapes! Maybe I watch too much Monk..... :)

I really need to post some new photos of Willow! She is growing so fast! She has two teeth, loves to eat everything, is sharing clothes with Bristol now and pulling herself to a standing position on whatever is in reach. Time to baby proof again! She'll be walking around the house before too long!

We're having a blast in our new home! Jason is home with us for a while and will be painting the outside of the house soon. I will post before and after photos when he's finished!

We finally have our Florida "winter" weather back! It's 63 degrees today and slightly cloudy! I couldn't resist taking some photos of my girls in OUR backyard! Everything is dead since no one has lived here in years, but I'll work on that come spring. :)

Bristol was very excited about going out in the cold with her new headband. Willow just played along. :)

Poor Willow. Her cheeks are not fond of this cold weather and have been pretty chapped. They are all better now, but she has skin ointment on in the photo(that's why her cheeks are pink and shiny.)

...and Bristol....just being Bristol! This girl cracks me up! She has more personality than anyone I have ever met. The other night she pulled at Jason's hand and said, "Daddy, get up! Get up!" Jason replied, "I don't want to get up." I busted out in laughter when she said, "Daddy, you need to get up and see what happens."

I took a few photos of the girls yesterday and these were my favorites! It's amazing how fast they are changing and growing! I'm loving every minute of it!

Bristol is learning the art of cleaning! She sure can make a mess, but she's a big help now in cleaning up afterward. Although, now she makes bigger messes since she enjoys cleaning! :) I am really excited about Christmas this year! Seth and Tracy (Norah and Bradley) spent Thanksgiving with his family and will be home for Christmas! It's going to be so much fun to have the family together. Debi got Bristol an advent calendar and loaded it with treats and Bristol gets so excited every day about getting her present! I can't imagine how excited she'll be Christmas morning! :)

Willow is sitting up unassisted. (I still have to sit with her for when she gets too excited and throws herself back though!) She has started saying, "Da-Da." I know she has no clue what it means, but it's still so cute! I'm trying very hard to teach her "Ma-Ma!" :) She's wearing 9-12 month clothes now and she's only 5 months old! Her next doctors appointment is in January and I can't wait to see the doctors face when he weighs and measures her. I prayed everyday for a BIG healthy baby and the Lord certainly granted my request! :)

Wow! November sure flew by us! Below are a few photos and a video of our November. Jason was teasing Bristol the other day and pretended to "eat" her ear. She replied, "No! No! It's not fruit!" We aren't sure where she picked that up, but it's pretty funny so there's a video of her and Willow and I told her I was going to eat her nose. :)
Willow and I went Black Friday shopping with Debi. It was definitely the most fun I have ever had shopping and I hardly spent any money! :) I will definitely be doing that again next year! We had her all bundled up since it was 45 degrees outside when Debi picked us up at 4:30 am. So cute!
Bristol asked me if we could make banana bread so I gave her all the ingredients and she made it. She was thrilled! After Thanksgiving Dinner and probably 10 cookies last night Bristol couldn't fall asleep so Jason got in bed with her. I hadn't heard anything for a while and when I went to check on them I found them both sleeping in the exact same way! Like Father, like daughter? :)

We have been having so much fun! The girls are growing up so fast! Bristol and Willow are really starting to enjoy each other. Willow finds Bristol very amusing and I just love watching them laugh. I am sure it will be even more fun when Willow can crawl and chase Bristol around the house!

Bristol has even more personality these days(if you can imagine!) She is always playing and having tea parties with her princesses or building them a castle out of legos. She loves to sing and dance with daddy. I will put up a video soon. I haven't managed to record it yet. She is very excited about moving into her new room in the new house. I can't figure out if it's because it's painted pink or the fact that she thinks Nana and Papa are moving in with us! (They were there when we looked at it and she thinks it's their house, too.)

Willow's latest venture is learning to sit up. She is learning very quickly and I don't think it will be long before she can play unassisted. She now weighs over 16 lbs and is 27 inches long (Bristol weighed 18 lbs on her first birthday! I am sure Willow will surpass that!) Besides sitting up she is also fascinated with her feet and the second you put her down she rolls over(even in her bouncer!hah!) She is, also, trying to mimic things that Bristol does! It's so cute to watch them together!

I am so grateful to God for my precious daughters! I love to see how gentle Bristol is with Willow! She always shows concern when she cries and makes sure she has a blanket to keep her happy! She's so helpful! As most of you know, Bristol is a chatter box and I love listening to her all day. It's non stop until she falls asleep where she's sitting!
Willow is growing up so fast! She's trying to mimic sounds and is chatting all the time now. She loves Bristol and tries to look around and find her when she hears Bristol's voice. She started sucking her thumb today! She has been trying for quite some time, but it was so fun to watch her learn.

Bristol loves giving Willow kisses....Willow isn't as fond of them just yet. :)

Daddy isn't feeling very well, but Bristol is taking advantage of the situation and getting lots of books read to her! :) Love it!

It's official! It fits in a ponytail! Well, sort of. It's little, but I love it! :)

Great Grandpa and Great Grandma Jill sent Charger gear to get the girls ready for football season! GO CHARGERS! (I turned the hat into a bow. Willow can't wear hats because she sweats so badly and get heat rash. She looks adorable though!)

Bristol was giving me a Go Chargers Cheer! I took Bristol and Willow to see the midwives today and Willow weighed in at 13 lbs 9 oz!! She so big! I had to get all Bristol's old 6-9 month clothes out. I love it!

My brother's amazing wife gave birth to Evey on September 10th 2009 at 1 o'clock in the morning. She weighed in at 6 lbs and 11oz and is 20 inches long! They have been desiring children for 6 years now and we are all rejoicing with them for Evey! She is truly a beautiful gift from God!

This is a pretty random post, but Bristol has been growing up so fast and she's so funny! I wanted to share with you all the things she does that makes me laugh. She's got so much personality! :)
She has so much energy throughout the day, but then crashes in a matter of seconds! I love catching her sleeping all over the house!
Every morning she wants to sit with me during my quiet time and drink her coffee (chocolate milk). It's a great time with her and I hope that she will continue to enjoy time set aside for God.
She gets very worried about Willow when she cries.
"Momma, Willow is crying. You need to go get her!"

I took Bristol with me when Willow had her last check up. When the doctor came in Bristol asked him, "Are you the Doctor?" He said he was and Bristol replied, "Willow is fine!".

She has caught on to the fact that I want her to gain weight and she uses that to her advantage. Every night when I am getting her ready for bed she tells me, "But, Momma, I am so hungry."

Aubrey and Phillip took her to Wendy's and the airport with them while we were at a wedding. Aubrey dropped Phillip off and Bristol's response was, "Phillip is gone and he took my french fries!"

This morning she climbed into bed with us and her shirt was rolled up. "Oh, no! My belly is showing!" I took this as a good time to tickle her. "No, Momma, I do not want you to tickle my belly!" (Jason has been correcting her grammar so she makes sure it's correct.) I tickled her again and she said, "No, momma, you are disobeying!"

I am so blessed by both of my girls! I love them so much! I hope you enjoy these tid bits of her life as much as I do! :)

I am thoroughly enjoying this season of life, but it will be so wonderful to watch them play together when Willow gets bigger. I'll post more photos soon of my girls together!

Well, we got up early this morning and went for a long walk with Amy, Peyton and Riley. I think it was a little too much for Bristol. She wasn't even able to finish her lunch when we got back! How cute!

We had my final ultrasound today. It's amazing that I am getting so close to the end of this pregnancy already. It seems like I just found out! Even in these 3 images you can tell that Willow looks so much different from Bristol. I can't wait to see her in person (although, I would appreciate another 6 or 7 weeks!)
The sonographer was a little concerned about my amniotic fluid last time, but everything looked perfect today. Thank you, Lord, for a healthy baby! She is 4 lbs already so she is helping me out in my goal for a 9 lb baby! Thank you all for your prayers during this pregnancy. God has answered every one of them!

We are having another girl! (surprised? I didn't think so :) We couldn't be happier! I can't believe we are halfway through already! WOOHOO! She is a week ahead of growth schedule and everything looks completely healthy. What more could I have asked for? Every time the tech took a measurement she said, "That looks perfect!"

Before Bristol went to bed tonight she said, "Goodnight, Willow!" and kissed my belly. I love it! I am so glad that they are so close in age. How wonderful are the plans my Savior has for me and my family? I certainly couldn't have planned it better myself! :)

We decided that it was time to start the process of switching Bristol to a "big girl" bed. To our surprise...she loves it! We put her to bed the very first night and she knocked on her door once and got right back in bed. She says, "Goodnight!" to all her friends and sleeps wonderfully. Thank you, Lord, for making that transition so easy!

Tonight, we had Bee and Ste over to watch a movie and Bristol was playing quietly in the other room. I should have known that she was up to something mischievous! She came into the room covered in something powdery. She ran back into the living room and revealed her masterpiece! My daughter and living room were covered in powdered sugar....I guess it's time to get a lock for the pantry. We were all laughing so hard! As I cleaned up the mess, she kept coming up to me and saying, "Sorry, Momma. I made a mess." What a priceless picture! It was well worth the clean up time! :)

Disney Again!

We had one more day left to take Bristol to Disney and thought it was a great time since she is so aware of her surroundings. She had such a great time! Now that she enjoys Winnie the Pooh and Cinderella it was so much more fun taking her on the rides and seeing the characters.
She didn't know quite what to think of the life size Tigger and Pooh, but had a lot of fun with them anyway!
It is so amazing to see things through her eyes and watch her learn. Every time we rode the monorail she would tell everyone to hold on!
When we got to Epcot she saw the "big ball" and said, "Yay! Ball! Hold it?" :)
On each ride she would clap the whole time with a huge grin on her face! When the ride would end she would ask, "Again?"

I am constantly reminded of just how blessed we are that God entrusted us with Bristol and how she has brought so much joy to our lives! I can't imagine how much more joy this new baby will bring to all of us.

Family Update

Let me start by saying that that the baby is doing great! I scared a couple people by not telling this story right! :) I had my 13 week check up yesterday and my midwife tried for about 20 minutes to find a heart beat and couldn't. So, she sent me to get an emergency ultrasound done. After waiting in the office for a little over an hour they managed to fit me in. It was such a joy and relief to see this little one start kicking like crazy! As it turns out, my uterus decided to hangout a few inches higher than where it should be and my midwife was just looking in the wrong place.
The first photo is a little hard to tell,
but the baby is looking straight at you! Only 6 more weeks and we'll know what to call this little one! :)
...and Bristol's Christmas picture! I can't believe how big she is getting! It was so wonderful watching her enjoy Christmas this year. She had so much fun ripping all the presents open and even helped a few people open theirs. :)

YAY! YAY! YAY! YAY! YAY! Isn't He good to me?! Bristol, Debi and I went to have a sonogram done yesterday afternoon. It was such a wonderful moment and a blessing to finally see my little baby. He/She was just kicking around and looking so cute already. At one point he/she even turned to look at us, only for a second, but what a second that was! I was reminded of the passage in 1 Samuel (:27)
"For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition that I made to Him."
How can I thank you enough, Lord?!

Well, as many of you know, Jason and I have been wanting to add to our family. After 2 failed pregnancies this summer God has chosen to bless us again! I am 8 weeks pregnant and everything looks great so far. Thank you all so much for your prayers and encouragement throughout this season. We love you!

Bristol and Peyton had a play date this week and of course I captured it on film. It was so much more fun for them now (and more fun to watch!). They walked around the house and played with each other in Peyton's room. I am so glad that Amy and I live so close and that our girls have so much fun together already! :)

Bristol's First trip to Disney

We needed a little family outing! So, Jason surprised me and took the day off of work and we went to Disney World with Bristol. It was so great to view everything through her eyes! Everything made her gasp with excitement. She would stare so intently at everything. She didn't cry or nap during the whole day! I can't really describe it enough so here are some pictures to help! How faithful is our King?! Celebration was an experience that we will never forget. The Lord was faithful to meet us in so many ways. Some that greatly affected us at the time and others that we can only hope to understand more clearly. So, here's the story....Bristol and I were trying to get out of the rain (she hates being cooped up!) and we went to Babies'r'us to walk around. Now, for some reason they have Halloween costumes already and I passed this one! I had to put her in it! I was laughing so hard I could barely take the picture! She was only in for 2 minutes and when I took it off the poor girl was sweating! I can't make her sweat like that for Halloween, so I figured I would show you all since I won't be buying it. Don't you love it though? It's so fitting for my little monkey!

Bristol's New Hobby

Recently, I have discovered that Bristol loves to climb! I spent most of my life up trees so it didn't really surprise me. This morning was especially funny because she would climb up and I would help her down and next thing you know she's up there again! She thinks it's very funny when I catch her in the act and simply says, "oh, no!" with a big grin on her face.

Bristol is also picking up on Nanaisms such as monkey noises and saying "aw". She has also picked up on a few faces. Look below and you'll see what I mean! :)

Bristol's First Vacation!

We recently took a trip to my home town Baltimore, Maryland! We went for my brother's graduation from the Sovereign Grace Pastors College. We, also, celebrated My mother's birthday and Bristol's birthday while we were there. This was Bristol's first trip and she had so much fun! Enjoy! For those of you who don't know. A local photographer, Christopher Yates, was doing a baby model search for his new baby photo package and new brochures. We took Bristol in to have her picture taken and I got the call last night that they chose her! I couldn't believe it! I mean, I know she's adorable, but I wasn't expecting that! I ordered some pictures so you will all get to see them soon!

Well, Bristol is practically running around these days! It's so much fun watching her walk. Sometimes it really makes me laugh because she's just so tiny! She is wearing herself out so much during the day that she has started sleeping through the night. Boy! I hope this continues! Well, Bristol's two front teeth are finally through! What a week! She's a lot happier now and she thinks it's funny to bite people. So, watch out when you see her because she bites and then when you say ouch or pull away she laughs really hard. I think it's adorable, but sometimes it really hurts! :) Here are a few pics that I took the other day. I just love them!

Bristol was being so silly today I just had to document for everyone! First she decided to help me knit and ate my yarn....So cute!

Then to top it all off...I fed her and put her down for a nap. A few hours later I hear her wake up but she was happy so I let her sit for a few minutes. When I walked in to get her, to my surprise, she was standing there waiting for me! :) Goodness! Could she be any cuter?!
